Phantom Liberty, the first significant DLC for the hugely successful Cyberpunk 2077, added numerous new vehicles to the game’s world, objectives that deepened the story, and, weapons to fight.
Making the best decision in terms of weapons can be challenging in the expansive universe of Cyberpunk 2077. The game provides a wide range of options, including handguns, shotguns, sniper rifles, and melee weapons like katanas and knives.
Smart weapons are game-changers since they are made for characters with an emphasis on cyberware. They shoot homing bullets that, with the Smart Link cyberware mod loaded, will automatically lock onto targets. The play can also explore the Intelligence skill tree and look into the new perks to enhance the performance of Smart weapons.
Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 range from traditional shotguns to smart weapons that can become headshot-finding machines of death.

In Cyberpunk 2077, smart weapons are undoubtedly the most remarkable type of firearms. They eliminate the need for manual aiming and instead, instantly target everyone in your line of sight. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes and in a variety of weapons categories.
Smart weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty
Cyberpunk 2077 and its DLC expansion Phantom Liberty comes with a number of smart weapons which can be used to complete missions in a more easier manner. The list of the smart weapons available is below-
- Pizdets
During the Spy in the Jungle Gig, Pizdets can be found in Dogtown in Phantom Liberty. This smart submachine gun has a ton of impressive strengths. The best feature of this weapon is the speed of firing increases after every shot. Therefore, once it begins to empty a clip, its damage per second will keep rising. It has a fantastic advantage over other smart submachine guns because of this.
- Skippy
In Cyberpunk 2077, Skippy is arguably the most well-known Smart weapon. It’s a smart pistol with Skippy, an AI that’s already built in. If the player hasn’t found it already, they can go to Heywood and search the southeast corner of the neighborhood for a side quest sign.
Once they locate Skippy, they can choose whether to make its shots fatal or not. Since it will switch to the other mode permanently when 50 opponents have been defeated, the player needs to choose the Puppy mode here.
When in its lethal mode, Skippy will constantly go for the enemy’s head. To defeat enemies, the player need not put in a lot of effort. It must be returned to its original owner in order for Skippy’s side mission to be successful. But this part can always be ignored.
- Ashura
In Cyberpunk 2077, the Ashura is a Smart Sniper Rifle that has a large base damage output. The weapon’s inability to use a silencer is its biggest drawback. Therefore, it is not optimum for the sly characters. But if all the player wants is something that can pick out adversaries from a distance and provide a lot of damage, they need to look no further.
Although there are several shops in Night City where the Ashura can be purchased, Corpo Plaza’s gun merchant is the best place to purchase this.
- Ojou
This is a smart pistol with a high reload speed to balance its lack of attacking speed. This can be obtained from the robot enemy RMK2’s corpse in the mission “Treating Symptoms.”
- Crimestopper
With its quick attacks and fast attack speed, this smart pistol can lock onto an additional enemy each time the player aims with it. During the “Heaviest Of Hearts” quest, the player can find this by searching the VIP carry-on luggage on the higher floor.
The messy Night City is home to a variety of contemporary and futuristic weapons, but none are more effective at swiftly eliminating adversaries than these cybernetically improved weapons.
