Elden Ring came out as the biggest esports pick of 2022 and WWE superstar Randy Orton too was absorbed into it. Known for its gameplay and difficulty, Elden Ring compelled many big names to get hooked to the game. Orton didn’t just like the game; but also got addicted to the extent that he wanted to level him up as soon as possible.
Randy Orton took to X back in April 2022 to reveal that he had reached Level 527 of the game. It was weird for many since the game was merely two months old. However, the mystery behind this is now out to the public. Orton paid $1000 to get himself levelled up in the Elden Ring.

Ever since this news got out in public, the fans have lost their calm. “That’s insane,” wrote one fan commenting on the post. Another fan took a dig at the WWE star, writing, “$1000 for bird farming lmao!” There were many fans who couldn’t absorb the dark truth about Orton.
“A WWE wrestler can’t take a challenge in a vedio game,” wrote a fan. “Imagine paying for it lol…just be better at it,” another user wrote on the post. The fans are clearly shocked at the revelation. When Orton first broke the news of his leveling up, fans considered his sheer dedication to achieve the massive feat. However, it is now all down the drain.
Why did Randy Orton pay to level up his Elden Ring character?
Randy Orton’s trick to reach an exceptionally high level in such a short time, along with a full-time WWE run, raised many eyebrows. However, a recent Twitch channel put an end to all the speculation. Former WWE stars Mansoor and Mace took to the stream on The Insiderz, revealing the truth behind Orton’s achievement.

For Randy Orton, Elden Ring was “f*ucking hard.” The Viper also acknowledged that he paid a guy $1000 to reach such a high level. “Uh, I paid a guy like a thousand bucks to give me, like, infinite runes so I could just level up to 100 right away,” said the former WWE star, recalling their conversation with Randy.
But this does not mean that the 14-time World Champion does not love the game. As per Orton, “It’s awesome. But no, I couldn’t deal with that bullsh*t, so I just paid a guy to give me a bunch of runes.” With these revelations, it gets questionable as to how many levels Orton has crossed all by himself.
