MrBeast replied to a tweet from Hank Green, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, in 2019. That reply seemed to have been a prediction that has come true.
William Henry Green II, famously known as Hank Green, is an American vlogger and a science communicator, who produced the YouTube channel Vlogbrothers. The YouTube channel is shared by his brother John Green, who is an author.
I can’t wait for the day I do something on accident and everyone starts shitting on me. It seems to happen to everyone eventually.

In 2019, Hank Green tweeted about the difficulties of life. He wrote about how unfairly people are judged in this world. He wrote, “You try very hard to do right, but you do something slightly questionable and it’s big news so everyone joyfully piles on.
vs.
Your whole brand is being irresponsible and thoughtless and snarky, go ahead and f**k up every single day…people love you for it.”
To this, MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson replied, “I can’t wait for the day I do something on accident and everyone starts sh***ing on me. It seems to happen to everyone eventually.”
Jimmy predicted a time when he would be doing all good but some misunderstandings would lead him to be named a villain. He was not wrong. Recently, in a few controversies, he has been named a villain even after doing good.
Jimmy uploaded a video about how he helped 1,000 deaf people hear again. He even gifted those people with money. However, some on the internet still labeled him a villain. They stated that he used their deafness to his advantage.
In another scenario, Jimmy was canceled for buying his team houses in the same neighborhood. Reports suggested that Jimmy bought multiple houses so that his family and employees can stay together in the same area. It was to cut down transport time and cost, however, he was accused of building a ‘company town’.
Hank Green announced that he has been diagnosed with cancer
In a YouTube video on Friday, Hank Green announced he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a form of blood cancer. The 43-year-old noticed enlarged lymph nodes which led to the diagnosis of cancer. Further, in the video, Green explained that the cancer is considered very treatable.
About beginning his chemotherapy sessions soon, he said, “I’m not really looking forward to it, but I’m looking forward to starting on the path.”
About his work going ahead after the cancer diagnosis, he said, “What am I gonna make? I don’t know. I know that I’m gonna feel like garbage. It’s gonna be really unpleasant.”
Green said he was grateful for his friends who have helped him in these past weeks.
“All of the time that I have spent investing in friendships, and even when they have been hard, to try and keep them strong, and even when I have been busy, to try and spend time with them, has been joyful in the moment and wise in the long term,” he said. “I’ve really needed friends in the last few weeks, and I’ve been very grateful to have them.”
No man has ever received this many pelicans. #blessed.
Out of chemo now and sleeping!

In the video, Green also explained that he has multiple risk factors for lymphoma including having had mononucleosis in childhood. Later, on Twitter, Green announced that he had started his first session of chemotherapy. Green had also announced that he will not be attending VidCon, an annual convention that was created by him and his brother, this year at the end of June.
