One of this year’s most eagerly awaited PlayStation 5 exclusive games is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The upcoming release from Insomniac Games has been keenly anticipated by gamers. The film will serve as the follow-up to the widely praised 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man and will be the third entry in the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise.
The words of one of the vocal performers who contributed to the title further fueled the rumors. While very little is known regarding it, the existence of both Miles Morales and Peter Parker has led people to question if co-op or multiplayer would be accessible in the game or not
Will Spider-Man 2 support co-op?
The speculation of Spider-Man 2 having a potential cooperative or multiplayer component has been definitively put to rest. The official Twitter account for Insomniac Games responded negatively when asked about it, saying that the game is planned to be “an epic single-player adventure.”
Nope! It is an epic single-player adventure!

It shouldn’t be a surprise to many of you that there are no multiplayer components in the beloved wall-crawler’s two prior games, developed by Insomniac. However, it appears Insomniac Games is concentrating on developing a strong single-player tale. As much as we’d want to see a co-op game in which players can swing and fight throughout New York with a pal.
Similar to Marvel’s Spider-Man and its spinoff, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the third episode will follow the same format. During a playthrough, there is a far larger chance of being able to flip between Miles Morales and Peter Parker. The gamers will have to wait until the developers give more information about it.
Although the upcoming entry is expected to be launched on October 20, 2023, the fans are speculating that a delay might come in. Many were of the opinion that the game would not be released at all this year due to Insomniac Games’ lack of information on the subject.
