The PAYDAY series is back to treat its fans with the third installment of the famous franchise. The game which was earlier developed by Overkill Softwares will this time come from the studios of Starbreeze. Naturally, Starbreeze Studios has made the pre-order available in a series of different editions.
The game will be made available officially on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on September 21, 2023. Every edition of PAYDAY 3 will bring along different types of content. Be it new in-game missions to cosmetic items, and even some shiny physical items, players will have a lot to explore
The early access of the game is currently live. The developers have made four different editions available for the players, each of which comes with special features and bonuses.
What is the Bonus Content for pre-ordering PAYDAY 3?
Starbreeze has released five different pre-order editions, namely Standard, Day One, Silver, Gold and Collectors’ Edition. Each of these four versions comes with a digital pre-order bonus for players who order the game before the release date of September 21, 2023.
Players buying the game by the date will receive the Trifecta Loot Bag DLC, featuring an exclusive mask, gloves, and suit for all the heister to wear. Currently, there is no clarity whether the bonus will be available to purchase separately after launch.
Here are the three editions that are available:
PAYDAY 3 Standard Edition
The digital standard edition of Payday 3 is priced at £34.99 and will include all the content available in the base game. So far, it has been confirmed that there will be 8 heists, 6 playable heisters, and an uncertain number of weapons and cosmetic items. It will also include Base game and Trifecta Loot Bag DLC as the preorder bonus.
PAYDAY 3 Day One Edition
The PAYDAY 3 Day One edition will cost around $39.99 and is more or less similar to the standard edition of the game in terms of content. However the only difference is that it is available as a physical version only, no digital version. Similarly it includes the preorder bonus of Base game and Trifecta Loot Bag DLC.
PAYDAY 3 Silver Edition
Starbreeze’s PAYDAY 3 Silver Edition will being in a few enhanced content in addition to the base content. The silver edition will cost £59.99 including the base game, a mask, a 3-day early unlock, as well as a six-month season pass. The pass guarantees access to two heists released as DLC post-launch, paired with tailor packs and weapon packs.

PAYDAY 3 Gold Edition
The Gold Edition of Payday 3 that comes at a price of £79.99 includes everything that is there in the Silver Edition, along with a few extras. In the gold edition, the season pass has been extended to one year, thus granting an extra two heists (four overall). It also brings along with other DLC released in that time. The Golden Slate gloves and Skull of Liberty mask are also unlocked as additional cosmetics.

One of the perks will be the Solidius Mask, which has been recreated in this edition as a physical mask that players will be able to display as well as wear. This version of Payday 3 includes everything in the Gold Edition, with the exception of the 3-day early unlock.
In addition to this players also get a physical version of the game in a pretty case, a custom deck of cards, stickers, and a membership letter to the Collector’s Club.
