A few days ago, an industry insider shared a cryptic post hinting at the alleged date and contents of PlayStation State of Play. PlayStation confirmed the leak by announcing the news via a blog named ‘State of Play returns this Wednesday’ on their official website.
Where to watch PlayStation State of Play?
The upcoming event will mark the year’s first PlayStation State of Play. It will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET/10 pm GMT. For players located in Australia, it will take place at 9 am AEDT on Thursday, February 1. The blog specifies that it will be a 40-minute-long video event.
As usual, PlayStation State of Play will be officially streamed by Sony across all its official PlayStation accounts. Thus, players who wish to watch the announcement live will have to spare 40 minutes at the timings given above. The State of Play can be watched on PlayStation’s official YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok channels.
Players can also visit their YouTube channel, open the State of Play video, and click the ‘Notify Me’ option to get alerted when the stream begins. Alternatively, players can also click on the video above and select the ‘Notify Me’ option.
What will PlayStation State of Play 2024 include?
Naturally, PlayStation isn’t willing to reveal all the contents ahead of the stream, but they did reveal that the 40-minute-long video will feature announcements on over 15 games. Further, the blog mentions that players can expect to get extended looks at the much-awaited Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin.
