Ubisoft is finally making a comeback in its famous Prince of Persia game franchise. After a hiatus of almost 13 years, the series is all set to get its next installment, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in the first month of 2024.
The game is all set to hit the shelves on January 18, 2024. Ahead of this the game launched for preview and it opened to highly positive reviews. This has further heightened the anticipation of the fans to get their hands on the game at the earliest.
Thanks to the preorder, players can get the game three days ahead of the official launch by pre-ordering the Deluxe edition. The developers had stated that the game would be released on The game will be launched on Amazon Luna, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. However, the PC players might have to take note of a couple of things before getting the game.
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown on Steam
The PC version of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on the same day as the other platforms, that is on January 18, 2024. However, unfortunately, the game will not be available on Steam. Thus the only way players can purchase and play the PC version of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is through the Ubisoft Store.
It is no surprise to see the game not arrive on Steam. Ubisoft has been the publisher of all Prince of Persia games ever since 2003. Post that Ubisoft has maintained that PC players exclusively purchase the game through their owned online game distribution storefront, Ubisoft Connect. They have avoided distributing their genes through their competitors.
