GTA and Rockstar Games trending on the internet is no new thing. And it’s making once once again, no bog deal. However, this time around Rockstar Games and GTA is making headlines for an interesting reason, and it’s not related to GTA 6.

Rockstar Games is celebrating the 10th year anniversary of one of its most successful games till date, GTA 5. With the sixth installment of the game still in development, GTA 5 is technically the last active game of the franchise. Released on September 17, 2013, over the ten-year journey, GTA 5 has amasses a massive and loyal fanbase of its own.
As part of the celebrations, Rockstar Games released an official message addressing their fans. It was thank you message wherein, Rockstar Games expressed their gratitude to the fans. It was heart warming, yes, but it also raised a few eyebrows of suspicion.
Is GTA Online ending?
Several users on the internet including the games fan pages found it to be a cryptic message that hinted at something more than just gratitude. Users pointed out that the tone of the message hinted at the end of GTA Online.
The gratitude message on Rockstar Games’ official website read, “As Grand Theft Auto V turns 10 this coming Sunday, we would like to thank you, our players, for your incredible support over the years.”
“This amazing community is the reason GTAV has thrived across multiple console generations and given us the opportunity to grow and update GTA Online with new features and content over these past 10 years, and your support is truly humbling. A massive thank you to anyone who has ever played, streamed, roleplayed, created, or shared from the world of Los Santos and Blaine County!”
Fans quickly started sharing their views on what the message could possibly mean.

However, there were also a bunch of users who believe that Rockstar won’t take the huge leap of ending GTA Online, since there is so much at stake. Some users even suggested that if at all Rockstar games decided to discontinue the games, they better be prepared to face the backlash.
Several fans also saw this message as a positive sign sparking hopes about the upcoming GTA 6. Besides a lot of fans are also anticipating and hoping that Rockstar Games drops the trailer or any information about the upcoming 6th edition on Sunday to commemorate the 10th anniversary of GTA 5.
