Co-developed by Arika and Bandai Namco Studios, Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game that will be released by Bandai Namco Entertainment. In the entire Tekken series, it is the tenth overall and eighth main installment. The PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S platforms will get the game on January 26, 2024.
Tekken 8 is set six months after the events of Tekken 7. The duel is similar to Kazuya and his father Heihachi’s final confrontation. Since his father never stops spreading chaos in the world, Jin wishes to kill Kazuya to put an end to the insanity in his family.
Along with returning gameplay elements from Tekken 7, like strikes based on the Rage system, Tekken 8 will emphasize “aggressiveness” and incorporate a new “Heat” gauge system. The official list of confirmed playable characters for the game’s base roster consists of 32 (plus one palette change and one Heat transformation exclusive form).
Tekken 8’s file size
The size of video games that have been launched in recent years has increased for a variety of reasons and Tekken 8 is no exception. Playing Tekken 8 will require 100 GB of storage, according to Bandai Namco’s official webpage. This is as large of a disc size as The Last of Us Part 1 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. This storage requirement applies to any platform on which Tekken 8 can be played.

The enormous amount of disc space needed for Tekken 8 may be partially attributed to its Story Mode. Developer Bandai Namco has stated that the Story Mode of Tekken 8 will be larger than that of its predecessor Tekken 7.
Bandai Namco reportedly allotted a far greater budget for the game, allowing them to include more content in its story mode, according to a Famitsu interview with development producer and director Kohei Ikeda and marketing producer Naoya Yasuda. As a result, players who are interested in picking up Tekken 8 may find the story mode to be an interesting experience.
