Charles and Arthur have an older brother, Lorenzo does not have a career in the racing field. He has a rather successful career in management.
The Leclerc family has a little racing in their history as well. Charles and Arthur Leclerc’s father, Herve Leclerc was also a racing driver in Formula 3 and Formula 2. He took part in Grand Prix during the 1980s and 1990s. Although he was not able to make it to Formula 1, he was able to provide his sons with the knowledge and insight to guide them in their careers. His mother, Pascale Leclerc also played an important role in bringing up the brothers.

Charles Leclerc joined Scuderia Ferrari in 2019 and is currently the star driver for the team. Some even say that Charles is Ferrari’s poster boy. Charles Leclerc’s current contract with Ferrari is set to end after the 2024 season. However, Charles and Ferrari are optimistic about extending their partnership.
Will Arthur Leclerc make it to Formula 1?
Arthur Leclerc is currently 22 years old. There are chances that he will make it to Formula 1. However, he will have to start winning races in Formula 2. The most successful drivers in Formula 1 either won the Formula 2 championship or came close to winning.
Being a Ferrari Academy Driver, he will have better shots at Formula 1 teams like Haas and Alfa Romeo. Currently, both teams have vacancies for the 2024 season. Both the drivers at Haas will be out of the contract after the end of the 2023 season. Valtteri Bottas has a contract with Alfa Romeo till the end of the 2025 season, but Zhou Guanyu’s contract will end after the 2023 season as well.
Given Arthur’s performance in Formula 2 in 2023, he might not be ready for a seat in Formula 1 in 2024. If Arthur is able to give a good performance in the 2024 Formula 2 season, he will have a good shot at a Formula 1 seat in 2025. It is currently unclear if Alfa Romeo and Haas will have any vacancies for the 2025 season.
