Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick became one of the biggest movies of the year
Lewis Hamilton also mentioned that he approached Tom Cruise for an appearance in his latest installment in the newest entry in the Top Gun franchise – Top Gun: Maverick. The movie was arguably the biggest in 2022 starring Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and Val Kilmer. He said that the director, Joseph Kosinski agreed to this but the 7X world champion was unable to work on the movie due to his busy schedule.
Top Gun: Maverick follows the story of Maverick from the original Top Gun who proves his point that human interference is required in Aerial Dogfights even in this age. Along the way, Maverick also mentors his ex-partner Goose’s son Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw.

Lewis Hamilton is making a movie with Brad Pitt
Dawn Apollo Films was founded by the seven-time World Champion and his manager, Penni Thow. The Formula 1-based film set to star Brad Pitt, who attended the United States Grand Prix in Austin to increase his familiarity with the sport, and for which Hamilton will be an executive producer, is one of two initial projects with Apple TV+.
“You will see a lot of things will happen next year in the preparation, and it’s exciting because all the teams will be involved, the drivers, everyone. So, it’s fantastic,” F1 boss Stefano Domenicali says the film will maximize the progress of the Netflix series Drive to Survive.
The production is being backed by Apple as Apple CEO Tim Cook was seen on the track at the US Grand Prix alongside Hamilton and Brad Pitt. Jerry Bruckheimer is co-producing the movie alongside Lewis Hamilton and is a big name in the film industry, producing movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun, and Bad Boys.
