Hours after a mysterious Google Drive link emerged on numerous journalists’ and renowned Formula 1 personalities’ e-mails, Christian Horner has come up with a rather straightforward response, openly questioning the authenticity of the supposed ‘evidence’. The Briton was quick enough to shun the growing reports and further pointed out that the barristers had already done their job and proved him not guilty.
Earlier while the second practice session was underway, Horner was pulled into yet another pool of controversy, this time by an unnamed entity. The anonymous user also managed to involve hundreds of journalists, team principals, and even the entire FIA and the CEO of Formula 1, Stefano Domenicali.
One of the reporters wrote on social media, “Holy Virgin. They report from the paddock that an anonymous account has just sent an email to the press, Liberty Media, and Domenicali. Subject: “Christian Horner evidence.” WhatsApp messages, photos and more,” Victor Abad wrote.

Soon after, Horner sprung to action with a statement of his own, reacting to the recent shenanigans that had taken the entire sport by storm.

Before we dive into the authenticity of the alleged evidence, here’s what Horner has to say about the e-mails. The renowned Red Bull F1 team principal said, “I won’t comment on anonymous speculation, but to reiterate, I have always denied the allegations.”
He further added, “I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and fully cooperated with it every step of the way. It was a thorough and fair investigation conducted by an independent specialist barrister and it has concluded, dismissing the complaint made.”
Now looking at the reactions from the motorsport community, the images and other so-called pieces of evidence are anything but authentic. Some users on social media even reckoned that the images are mostly AI-generated. Overall, it looks like the demons are continuing to chase Horner despite the Briton finding himself off the chains. And by the looks of it, he may be a bit far from embracing peace. Therefore, will Red Bull soon release a statement to save Horner from further scrutiny, or is the 50-year-old preparing for another round of investigation?
