Christian Horner has passed his verdict on Sergio Perez and why he deserves to be at Red Bull. Red Bull has had one of the most dominating seasons of all the years in F1. The team has won almost every race other than Singapore. And while Max Verstappen has done a brilliant job, Perez has heard a few remarks on his performance this season. The driver has had horrible misfortunes as he failed to give good qualification results or race.
With his latest admission, he pulled the most meaningless lap of his entire career just to retire twice as the F1 community in a chokehold. However, the Red Bull boss seems to have his back. Christian Horner was asked if it would have been difficult for the team if they did not have Max Verstappen. But it seems Horner was in no mood to hear any criticism on his second driver. As a reply he said,
How much harder would it have been without Max in the performances this year?

“He [Checo] is still second in the championship, and he has finished second to Max six times so far.” Checo has not been up to par, especially in a Red Bull car. However, he too celebrated some great results this season. He managed to get behind Verstappen to get a double podium and has won two races. Horner backed up his driver mentioning that he still stands second in the driver’s championship.
Sergio Perez defends himself after a drive of shame at the Japanese Grand Prix
Sergio Perez had one of the most horrible and nightmarish experiences that any Formula 1 driver could have. After starting the race just like any other he crashed twice into other drivers and had to get his nose cone changed. After joining the race again, he crashed again and had to retire from the race. But after a while, Perez was seen getting back in the car to go on the tracks. He left the pit lane and was back to pit to serve his penalty.
However, he seems to be absolutely done with the way he has been mocked over the situation. Recently, Perez came out to defend himself and the situation that he was caught in. He mentioned George Russell’s crash in Singapore as an example to defend him saying, “He crashed on the last lap fighting for second place, but nobody talked about it. When it happens at Red Bull, there are immediately three hundred media saying you have to be replaced,”

It seems that the Mexican driver is absolutely done with people commenting harsh words towards him for every mistake he makes. Perez has made headlines multiple times this year with fans asking Red Bull to just replace him. However, he has stayed silent and confident in himself. But with the recent nightmare come true, Perez has lost patience with the fans.
