EA Sports’ F1 23 game is set to release on June 16. Some of the screenshots from the game were released recently, and fans do not seem impressed by them.

While EA has not yet released the driver ratings for the game, they have mentioned a few new features which were absent in the F1 22 game. The F1 23 will feature a more realistic experience with force feedback while playing on a steering wheel. The game will also make steering while using a controller smoother than F1 22.

F1 23 will also feature Red Flags which was absent in its prequels. Red Flags have become a common and exciting feature in the Formula 1 Grand Prix, EA has decided to give a similar experience in the game as well. This is one of the major features in the F1 23 game which is absent in F1 22.

After releasing some screenshots of the gameplay, fans were less than impressed with them.

Fans react to the F1 23 gameplay screenshots

Here are some of the reactions from the F1 23 gameplay screenshots:

Nope. Still the same old graphics. How to make easy money.

Nah, the current one is the worst I’ve played and don’t fancy wasting my money again

It looks exactly the same

Braking Point is back, so yes!

— Jacek Wezgraj (@JacekWezgraj) May 11, 2023

Idk, it’s just hard to put faith into anything Codies touch anymore, factor in its under EA publishing, and has one of the most toxic multiplayer communities in the industry? Hard sell for me at least.

The F1 23 game will also feature the new Las Vegas street circuit and the Losail International Circuit. It has also been announced that the game will bring back story mode which was previously available in F1 2021 game but was absent in F1 22. This has given fans some motivation to buy the game even though it has been steeply-priced.

One fan doesn’t seem to like F1 22 and has voiced their opinion, “Nah, the current one is the worst I’ve played and don’t fancy wasting my money again”

I am very excited and proud to be the single cover athlete for the #F123 Champions Edition 🙏 Can’t wait for you guys to see more of what we’ve been working on together with @EASPORTSF1 🔥 https://t.co/OD6NfkxWpy pic.twitter.com/6quvHOxTvY

Players seem to be comparing the graphics of last year’s title with F1 23 and have found similarities. One fan said, “Nope. Still the same old graphics. How to make easy money.” referring to the similar graphics in the games.

There will be 2 editions of the game. The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99 on Steam and the PlayStation store. The Champions Edition which will feature Max Verstappen on the cover will be priced at $89.99 on the same platforms. The F1 22 game was priced at $59.99 making the F1 23 game more expensive for similar features. This is making fans hesitate to buy the game.
