However, it seems his habit of having what he likes runs into different aspects of his life too including the movies that the driver enjoys watching.
The Dutchman has won almost every single race this season and has made a name for himself. However, he has often shown that he will not settle for anything that he does not like. While giving an interview the driver confessed not liking a specific genre ever since he was a child while also proving that he has very specific likes and needs from a young age.
Max Verstappen hates a specific genre of movie
Max Verstappen has made his name in Formula 1 as a driver who does not rest no matter what even after finishing his Formula 1 championship races. He is constantly seen live streaming where he spends time Sim Racing with his Redline team and is often focused only on his job.
There is no doubt that it is only because of the love that he has for the sport and it being a huge part of his life since he was a kid, watching his father race, he has become very serious about his racing career. Nonetheless, when he is not racing for months and months with no break and spending his time Sim Racing, the driver enjoys a good drink and some movies.

However, as stubborn as the driver is there are specific movies that don’t make his list when it is time for him to have a movie marathon. He expressed his dislike towards the genre and confessed to hating it ever since he was a child. He dislikes horror movies and tends to skip them as soon as they play. He said, “I don’t even like horror films, ever since I was a kid. They are not pleasant to watch.”
The three-time champion who loves to keep things “simply lovely” at all times has repelled from wanting to watch horror movies, the discomfort that they bring, and the unpleasant atmosphere that they create.

As the 2022 season began, Verstappen started winning more and more races and beat Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher to have the most races wins in a season. With his popularity and his success, the driver started receiving a lot more sponsors, promotions, and commercials. One of them was a “Don’t drink and drive” Heineken commercial where the driver showed off his acting skills and also their new product with a lesser alcohol percentage.
