Brad Pitt has been doing some intense training for his upcoming Formula 1 movie, Apex. The movie will begin its shooting sometime in June.
The name of the movie was released along with an impressive fact. Brad Pitt has already driven over 600 miles in preparation for the movie. Apex is reportedly using the same technology used to shoot Top Gun: Maverick.
Lewis Hamilton’s new production company, Dawn Apollo Films will be producing the film along with Apple TV. Hamilton has been very vocal about making the film as realistic as possible. They have even hired Joseph Kosinski as the director of the film.

Joseph Kosinski recently directed Top Gun: Maverick, which was nominated for best picture. The film was also very famous for its realistic flight sequences. The flight sequences were shot in an actual fighter jet. The Apex movie will also be using actual race cars to make the scenes more realistic.

It was previously reported that Brad Pitt will be driving a Formula 1 car around the Silverstone Circuit during the British Grand Prix. This led to some fans thinking that he will be driving among other Formula 1 cars. This will not be the case.
Brad Pitt and the film crew will be using Formula 2 and they will not be on track while a race weekend session is going on. A lot of fans have wondered how a 59-year-old actor will be able to handle a Formula 2 car on complex circuits such as Silverstone.

Colton Herta is an Indy Car driver who was suspected to drive for Alpha Tauri this year but did not have enough super license points to race in Formula 1.
Brad Pitt and the Apex team will be filming the race sequences between sessions from the British Grand Prix onwards. The film will include footage of the specially designed F1 car and footage from the actual 2023 season of Formula 1.
Based on when the shooting is starting, we can expect the film to come out by late 2024 or early 2025. We could even expect a 2024 Christmas release. The trailer for the movie could be released by early 2024. Fans are very excited to see how this film will turn out.
