The Mercedes driver recently made an interesting revelation about his secret gaming escapades.
According to Hamilton, he goes online every now and then and plays the racing game with his real name! It is intriguing as many would take him to be a mere fan of the 7-time world champion due to his username and not the actual Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton narrated a humorous tale about competing against a fan in the game Gran Turismo where the fan had no idea that they were facing off against him. As the story goes, Lewis decided to hop in for a quick game during Christmas in order to relax, but as he went ahead, a fan kept “taking me out“.

Lewis Hamilton stated, “I have Gran Turismo and I play that sometimes during Christmas and I go online. And the last time I played it over Christmas, there was someone with my initials like LH or Lewis, or Lewis GB or something like that, or something-44 – and he kept taking me out! He had no idea he was racing me!” The driver was nice enough to ask the person to reach out to him.
Although it has been a while since this information came out to the public, there is a good possibility that the British driver might be practicing this habit even now.
