Hollywood star Anne Hathaway and Red Bull reserve driver Daniel Ricciardo were recently captured at the Met Gala in New York. Turns out Anne Hathaway is “a huge fan.”
The former McLaren driver and now reserve driver for Red Bull made a surprise appearance on the Red Carpet at the 2023 Met Gala. The Met Gala is an exclusive event to which only the richest of the rich are invited.

Anne Hathaway ran into Daniel Ricciardo at the Red Carpet during the Met Gala during which Anne Hathaway mentioned that she was a huge fan of Formula 1.

Anne Hathaway meets Daniel Ricciardo and seems to be “Starstruck” about it. She gives a huge smile, and although Ricciardo’s face is not seen in the above video, we can safely assume that we would be able to see Ricciardo’s signature smile on his face.

Daniel Ricciardo is famous for his podium “shoeys.” Whenever he achieves a podium, he drinks the sparkling water given at the podium from his shoe. This is an iconic celebration that is commonly known as the Shoey.
For those fans that are already thinking it, this is not an indication that Anne Hathaway and Daniel Ricciardo are dating. In fact, Anne Hathaway has been married for more than 10 years now.

Daniel Ricciardo is expected to take part in an FP1 later this season. If the Aussie impresses the paddock with his performance, he might be able to get a seat for 2024 or 2025 based on the teams that have a vacancy.

As it stands Mercedes has a vacancy for the 2024 season with both their drivers out of contract after this season. However, Mercedes will likely be extending the contract of both their drivers. None of the other top teams have a vacancy for the 2024 season.
the 2025 season, however, will have a lot of open seats available for Ricciardo. Both the Ferrari drivers’ contracts will be ending in 2024, along with Sergio Perez and both Alpine drivers. It could be possible that the teams might look at Ricciardo as an option for the 2025 season. Let us wait and see.
