However, Formula 1 VS NASCAR was up for discussion this week after a brawl started at the NASCAR races. A 47-year-old driver punched a 22-year-old for a collision on the track. However, that simple fight led to a heavy discussion.
But what exactly was the situation? Well, Nick Sanchez, a 22-year-old NASCAR driver seemed to have collided with another car during the drift. This caused a multi-truck collision.
However, 47-year-old Matt Crafton was not happy at all. The collision caused a multi-truck pile up and soon everyone was dismissed for cool-off and medical checkups. As for Crafton, as soon as he was done with his medical check-up, he went on a mission to look for Sanchez.

Sanchez was already in an interview as he talked about the situation. That is when he felt a tap on his shoulder. As soon as he turned around, he felt a blow on his face. “Cheap shot, but is what it is I guess.” Sanchez was heard saying

He could be heard screaming, “I am going to f**king kill you at Homestead. You f**ked with the wrong guy, motherf**ker!” in the viral video. Sanchez had his entire face broken with his nose being affected the most. The video of their fight showed a bloodied Sanchez on the ground being pulled away as he threatened the Crafton. He could be heard screaming out slurs and also threatened to kill him.

NASCAR witnessed one of the most brutal fights. The 47-year-old driver punched a 22-year-old kid. Everyone witnessing the sudden fight was shocked as they separated the two. However, this called in fans to make a few comparisons between the car racing series.
Formula 1 too, has seen some interesting fights however, there has never been a horrible bloody fight. Although Schumacher‘s storming to get Coulthard may be one of the moments, nothing happened.

Nonetheless, the situation has been looked into since. As for the debate about which racing series is better, every person has a bias based on their preferences. At the end of the day, both series have something special to offer to their fans. While many enjoy Formula 1 and the international races, NASCAR fans love the drifts.
