Max Verstappen has been the driver to beat for the past 2 years. In a recent interview that he has his personal life to thank for his success. He also mentioned Penelope Kvyat who is his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet’s daughter.
“I’m not the father, that’s not the aim,” says Verstappen. “It’s always very important that she has a good relationship with her own father, which she has. But I see her every day when I’m at home. We get on very well. She’s very cute.”
Before dating Max Verstappen, Kelly Piquet dated Daniil Kvyat and had a daughter with him. Since Max is now dating Kelly, he gets to spend a lot of time with Penelope Kvyat. However, he has made it clear that he is not trying to replace Daniil as her father. Max and Kelly have made sure that Penelope has a good relationship with her father.

Kelly Piquet is the daughter of Nelson Piquet, who also happens to be a F1 Champion. He won the Championship 3 times in 1981, 1983, and 1987. However, his public image has gone down after he made some racist statements towards Lewis Hamilton.

It has been reported that Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet started dating sometime in early 2021. An exact date has not been given for the start of their relationship. Kelly has made a number of appearances during Grand Prix weekends to show her support for Max Verstappen. She even showed up in the latest Brazilian Grand Prix which also happens to be in her home country.
Daniil Kvyat and Kelly Piquet started dating in 2017. The couple broke up in the same year Penelope was born, 2019. Although fans have speculated that Kelly exclusively dates only F1 drivers, she has denied this and said she once had a serious relationship with someone in finance.

Although Kelly has made a number of appearances during race weekends, we are yet to see Penelope show up in the paddock to support Max. However, Kelly has stated that she would rather keep Penelope away from the public eye and the media.
Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet continue their relationship after 2 years of dating. They seem to be going strong and she seems to be a positive influence on Max providing him with stability in his personal life so he can focus on his performance on track.
