Mick Schumacher has been waiting for a seat in Formula 1 for quite a while. With no end to his waiting, he has finally found a potential breakthrough in his career. After being kicked out of Haas for his incompetency and got invited to be a backbencher at Mercedes.
While surely learning from the great Lewis Hamilton has been fun, he sure wants to look for his own place in the sport.
Not too long ago, the German mentioned that if he does not get a seat soon, he may be too late to have a career in the sport. Luckily for the driver, he has now found his place in the sport. Recently it was revealed that Schumacher has tested for Alpine and while it is not in Formula 1, it is for a Le Mans prototype. The driver will have to run a few more tests in order to be deemed fit for the team.

While the Alpine team has confirmed that they have not confirmed any driver lineup for their World Endurance Championship team. They have confirmed that the team will have six seats available between their two cars. Although these seats will be filled in by the current Alpine drivers, they will also be bringing in a few high-profile drivers.
Mick Schumacher finds hope after being rejected by Williams
Mick Schumacher may have found hope after testing for Alpine. After a tough end to his 2022 season and now seat in 2023, he struggled a lot. Sitting on the side with no other seat available for him, his wish to drive came through. However, before the good news came some bad news for him. The driver who was first thrown out of Haas was rejected even with Toto Wolff’s reference.
Schumacher, waiting at Mercedes and hoping something plays off according to him, had to meet with yet another hard-hitting news. Williams team principal James Vowel, confessed to rejecting Mick for a Williams seat. Although Williams has seen some unfortunate performances from Logan Sargeant, they have decided to have him in 2024 too. Meanwhile, Mick Schumacher has been left with no seat yet again.

Luckily for him, the Endurance Championship brings him some hope and a new journey, away from Formula 1. Nonetheless, he has stuck by the Mercedes team in hopes of a seat and a chance at proving himself. After his father made his name as the first-ever 7-time world champion in the sport, he has much more to hold onto.
