Red Bull has finally unveiled its fan-designed livery for the Miami Grand Prix. The team has been teasing the new livery for a while on their social media pages.

During the RB19 car launch, Red Bull announced their cars would be running a fan-designed livery for all three Grand Prix in the United States. After the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Formula 1 is heading to Miami for the first Grand Prix in the United States.

The area allocated for fan design on the car is only on the sidepods. The new livery for the Miami Grand Prix has sparked some mixed reactions from the fans.

Really? After a month or two of competition to pick a special Miami livery the one you settled on was… The normal livery but with a pink stripe & a blue stripe? 🤦‍♂️

i understand that the least paint you apply the lighter your car will be, but at this point why even bother to let the community design? im pretty sure your design division can do something like this too, just a bunch of line slapped into RB19 that even 5 year old can do it

No offence to whoever made it, but I was getting ready for a wild livery. Not a few stripes of colour pic.twitter.com/Jsz0YNkSYW

Over the last week, Red Bull released some of the shortlisted designs which fans believe was better than the selected one. It is clear that some fans are not impressed with the design as compared to past special liveries.

The livery is judged by a group led by Christian Horner. Other judges consist of the key personnel from the major Sponsors of the team. Although the livery design for the Miami Grand Prix is done, fans can still enter their designs for the United States Grand Prix at Austin, and the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

With the team now headed off to Miami, the rivalry between Perez and Verstappen is more heated than ever. Perez is currently only 6 points behind Max Verstappen. Perez believes that he would be leading the Championship if not for the issues he had during Qualifying at the Australian Grand Prix.

Although Ferrari had a bad start to the season, they seem to have caught up with the Red Bull in terms of qualifying pace, however, Red Bull’s race pace still seems too strong for them.

Let us now see if Perez can continue to keep up with Max Verstappen throughout the season, and if Ferrari could match Red Bull’s race pace.
