Sebastian Vettel has been known to be a charitable person. The German has taken initiatives to promote various different purposes for the betterment of society. Vettel retired from the sport too and soon announced his involvement in 2026 regulations. He has been working closely to make the sport more environmentally friendly. However, it all started two years ago when Vettel held a competition for kids in order to make a Bee Hotel at the Red Bull Ring.
Sebastian Vettel first started the making of the Bee Hotel. He held a contest where kids drew an idea for what the hotel would look like. The design that gets chosen will be built near the Red Bull Ring. Soon a racing car turned into a Bee Hotel was placed near the track.
Now the four-time champion is bringing his idea to the Suzuka race track. After earlier announcing that he would be making an appearance for something special, the plan has been revealed. Vettel will be placing 11 bee hives behind the Turn 2 of the Suzuka track.

This initiative of the bee hives has been in the making for two years. Vettel will be working closely with a Japanese carpenter and making his bee hive near the track. This is quite special for the German as he will have a project to increase the bee population while also keeping it near what he loves the most. So far, Vettel has also donated to various charities and organizations.

Sebastian Vettel also had his “diversity” helmet up for auction as a charity. The helmet raised around $250,000 which all went to charity. He also donated to the LaSalle Youth Center. It invites children to their safe environment and helps them. Vettel donated $10,000 after failing to sell his Ferrari cap to raise charity. And now his donations he has added another special spot to save bees.
Vettel has not returned to Formula 1. However, he drove his championship-winning trophy at Nurburgring. The driver has no plans of returning after announcing he wants to focus on family. But with recent talks with Sky Sports, he has said that a comeback is not completely out of the discussion. Needless to say, everyone anticipates whether the grid-favorite driver will return to the sport.
