Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen had one of the rare moments where the two joked around with each other. After having a long rivalry that many have witnessed, the two finally shoved away all the hate wars that started between them.
Although the two have had some intense moments on track, the two have maintained respect for one another in the sport. After their incredible run at the US Grand Prix, the two got to their conference alongside Charles Leclerc.
However, Verstappen and Hamilton both had some jokes up their sleeves as soon as they heard the question. They were asked, “Download it to us, Lewis, come on! What did you learn following Max?”.
Max Verstappen did not hesitate to chime in saying, “Plug in a USB drive to my car!”. This earned a laugh from the seven-time champion as he said, “That’s what we need is a USB, I was trying to get close enough but next time I’ll get one of those GoPro sticks!”

The two laughed together and showed once again that there was no bad blood between them. The drivers just simply do their job and it involves getting a little feisty on and off track. However, the two have no bad blood and are respectful towards each other.
Lewis Hamilton is the only one made to beat Max Verstappen
Lewis Hamilton believes he is the only one capable of beating Max Verstappen. After a long rivalry throughout the 2021 season, Max Verstappen came out to be the victor. However, many believe the season to be controversial with Hamilton’s title being “robbed”.
As the years have progressed, Red Bull has only gotten more and more powerful. The team alongside Max Verstappen has brought the Dutchman unshakeable dominance.
However, Hamilton believes he can beat the Dutchman and take his rightful 8th title in F1. He said, “I want to be fighting Max, I believe I’m one of the only drivers that can do so.” This also followed with him urging his Mercedes team to do a better job.
He believes he can still fight for a championship but for that, he will need a better car. After the new floor update that the car got, it has seen serious improvement considering the Sprint race.

However, he has urged Mercedes to work on pitstops, the car, and every tiny detail that goes into getting themselves to become the challengers. After all, Hamilton has been very clear he has a purpose and it is to win his 8th title. Hamilton signed his contract with Mercedes to stay in the sport and plans on doing so for even longer. However, alongside that, he also hopes to hold his 8th title in his hand someday.
