In 1991, Michael was able to win over Corinna Schumacher and the couple continues to remain beside each other. It is unclear as to how long Corinna was dating Frentzen before starting her relationship with Schumacher. But it was not considered to be very serious as both of them were still young.
The year Frentzen made his F1 debut, Schumacher won his first Championship with Benetton. He continued to win one more the next year before leaving for Ferrari. Although Michael was not able to win much with Ferrari in the beginning, he continued to dedicate himself to the team to develop the car. All his hard work paid off as he went on to win 5 consecutive Championships from 2000 to 2004.

After meeting in 1991, the couple decided to get married after Michael won his second Championship in 1995. Since then, Corinna has supported him in his path to becoming one of the best F1 drivers in history. There is no doubt that Schumacher’s legacy will live on for generations to come. The 7-time Champion retired from F1 after the 2006 season.
However, in 2010, he decided to return to F1 with Mercedes being managed by his friend, Ross Brawn. After the 2012 season, he retired for the 2nd and final time. A year later, Michael met with a tragic accident while skiing on the French Alps. The accident left him in a coma and changed his and his family’s life forever. “I miss Michael every day. But it’s not just me who misses him. It’s the children, the family, his father, everyone around him. Everybody misses Michael, but Michael is here – different, but here. He still shows me how strong he is every day.” Corinna ♥️ pic.twitter.com/nEmmCaAccJ

We do know that Schumacher is out of the coma and is able to communicate with limitations. The media was able to get some information about Michael’s condition from his close friends who were allowed to see him. Other than his close friends, Corinna Schumacher has not allowed Michael to interact with anyone and has asked the media to respect the family’s privacy.
It is unlikely that we will receive much news about Michael and his condition anytime soon. However, we can hope for his close friends like Jean Todt to give us some updates when he goes to visit him. Hopefully, he can communicate with his family and live as good a life as possible. Fans would love to see Michael beside a race track again, but realistically, it is unlikely that this will happen.
