Bianca Belair put in a sensational performance at the recently concluded WWE Backlash in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The EST overcame the threat of Damage CTRL member IYO SKY to become a record-breaking champion. The current RAW Women’s Champion has become one of the foremost superstars on the roster and continues to grow in a babyface role.
Since winning the Raw Women’s Title at WrestleMania last year in an enthralling match against Becky Lynch, Belair has been on a run that has seen her overcome potent challengers such as Asuka, Bayley, and the aforementioned SKY, among others.
Following her win at Backlash, Bianca amassed 400 days as the RAW Women’s Champion, resulting in her becoming the longest-reigning women’s champion in the company’s modern history.

However, that does not make her the longest-reigning champion in WWE right now. The current longest reigning champion in the company is currently the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief has completed 980 days as the Universal Champion since winning the title at Payback 2020.
Reigns will almost certainly complete 1000 days as the Universal Champion and extend his championship reign beyond Night of Champions, where he is likely to retain his titles. As far as Belair is concerned, she surpassed Becky Lynch, whose RAW Women’s Championship reign ended at 398 days.
Bianca Belair may not remain Raw Women’s Champion soon
Following the WWE Draft, Bianca Belair was drafted to SmackDown. Meanwhile, her counterpart, Rhea Ripley, the SmackDown Women’s Champion, was drafted to Raw. This brought about a conundrum where the respective women’s titles have been shifted to the opposite brands.
This has resulted in fans speculating as to what can happen to the titles. There could either be a swap of the titles, reminiscent of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s infamous swap in 2021. However, that has left a bad taste in the mouths of many and could potentially result in fans turning on both women.

Another option that WWE could try out with regard to Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley is that they can alter the names of the titles and remove the branding altogether. This could result in the company not having to do the swap or any other similar storyline.
Irrespective of which option Triple H and his creative team choose, Bianca Belair is almost certain not to remain the RAW Women’s Champion in the coming weeks, marking an end to her reign. It remains to be seen how things will pan out.
