The 37-year-old’s best chance in the game was when he hit the post, with United left to rely on Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to bag the three points.
The lack of game time for the Portuguese in Premier League is clearly visible in his form this season. Manchester United after a heavy derby defeat against Man City will face Everton on Sunday, followed by the return leg match against Omonia in the Europa League.
The Portuguese would love to be back in form and be once again on the scoresheet for Manchester United. Ronaldo would look to turn things around before the World Cup, as Portugal face Ghana, Uruguay and Korea in the group stage matches in Qatar.
