There has been a major update in the rankings of the women’s bantamweight division. A few hours ago former UFC women’s champion Germaine De Randamie was removed from the top 15 of the UFC bantamweight rankings.
The Iron Lady #15 was replaced by upcoming prospect Norma Dumont who has a record of 3-1 in the UFC. The Immortal is rewarded with the 15th spot on the back of her impressive win over Aspen Ladd.

Interestingly, along with the top 15 of the current division, the promotion has also removed her from the Top 15 pound for pound list. They have replaced her with Irene Aldana, who is ranked # 2 in the women’s bantamweight division.
The UFC has not officially announced the reason for removing Germain from the top 15 rankings. However, according to various journalists, the promotion has removed her due to inactivity.
Germaine de Randamie is still on the UFC roster and has multiple fights left, per sources. She was removed from the rankings due to inactivity and no timeframe for her return.

When will Germaine De Randamie fight next?
Germaine De Randamie last fought against the current number one contender Julianna Pena in October 2020. The Iron Lady defeated the Brazilian fighter via submission in the third round. Ever since that victory, the former UFC champion has not stepped inside the octagon.
There is a big reason why Germaine De Randamie has not fought anyone for more than a year. Despite having a contract, Randamie has indicated that she does not wants to get vaccinated. And according to the UFC’s protocals it is compulsory for any fighter residing outside the United States to complete their vaccination.
Germaine De Randamie, who resides in Utrecht, the Netherlands, has made her intentions clear on this matter. Besides, she has not given any update regarding her return. Therefore, it is uncertain when the 37-year-old will step inside the UFC octagon next.
