The 2023 Travelers Championship marked the 37th tournament of the PGA 2023 Tour, the last being the U.S. Open. Xander Schauffele was the defending champion for the medal play event. The “Players’ Choice” tournament is hosted under the umbrella of the Greater Hartford Community Foundation in Cromwell, Connecticut.
The Leaderboard for the designated 70-par event was adorned by the big names of Patrick Cantlay, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Min Woo Lee, Hideki Matsuyama, and Emiliano Grillo.
Brian Harman was betted upon the most as the “horse for the course” at TPC River Highlands. His craft and command pointed to his advantage on the field. Unwitting were we!
Keegan Bradley won the event that sported a $20 million purse. The tournament took place in the last week of June. Zac Blair and Brian Harman inched close, racing to tie at T2.

Those who did predict right must have figured that plenty of long putts, aggression over defense, and (well!) holding a lead. Bradley “went low” all the right things, including holding the 54-hole lead.
Here’s a quick look at the divvy of prize money for the Travelers Tournament, 2022-23 PGA.
Zac Blair’s 2023 Travelers Tournament Earnings
Zac Blair scored as a runner-up with -20. He attended on a medical exemption. Blair has made a commendable tour comeback and gone from thousands to millions, nevertheless!
The Korn Ferry and Rockford ProAm winner was down to get injuries fixed with surgery on the right shoulder joint. The two tears had been weighing on the golfer’s shoulder for over two years. While Blair regards the break to have been “cool”, he is glad to have shot “62 on Sunday.”
Zac Blair bagged $1.78 million at the Travelers’ Tournament, on June 25, 2023. That brings his career earnings to $4.5 million – not too bad for a 32-year-old with a tad “on-and-off” career decade!
Brian Harman still has a shot!
Brian Harman finished shooting 64 and was titled T2nd at the 2023 Travelers’. He tied with Zac Blair, giving Keegan Bradley a 3-stroke margin of victory.
Harman has no tour wins for the year yet. He had come in second at the 2017 U.S. Open and T6 at the 2022 PGA Championship. The T2 leaves Harman hopeful.
This is his fourth time as runner-up in the 2022-23 Tour. The designated event also gave him his third T2 of the season. Brian Harman took home the prize money payout of $1.78 million; the stats look good too.

We are glad he braved into golf so young, and with little opportunity. Keegan Bradley’s Travelers Championship win is his second tour title this season. His name is up with Jon Rahm, Max Homa, Tony Finau, Scottie Scheffler, and other golfing elites. Bradley may have earned his ticket to Rome’s Ryder Cup.
He scored 257, with -23 to par. Bradley stayed three strokes ahead of Zac Blair and Brian Harman. Keegan Bradley cashed in about a fifth of the purse with the $3.6 million payout.
