Logan Paul’s trajectory in WWE is only on the rise following several sensational performances since performing at WrestleMania 38. His debut match saw him team up with The Miz to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Since then, The Maverick has been in several high-profile matches, including challenging Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia.

This year’s WrestleMania also saw him take on Seth Rollins in an encounter that enthralled both fans and critics. The YouTube megastar also had his contract renewed by WWE since his acrobatic efforts. One other celebrity-turned-wrestler who has earned the keen attention of the wrestling world has been Grammy award-winning music artist Bad Bunny.

After making his debut at WrestleMania 37 by teaming up with Damian Priest to take on The Miz and John Morrison, fans raved about his in-ring prowess and demanded that the company acquire his services to return to the ring. This resulted in him coming back to the company for another appearance during the Royal Rumble last year.

Last night, Bad Bunny not only hosted Backlash, but he also delivered one of the most entertaining matches of the PPV event, going against Damian Priest in a Sreet Fight. This brought him into the limelight once again. Fans will be hoping that this will lead to a renewed involvement for Bunny within the WWE landscape. He could, like Logan Paul, sign a celebrity contract where he could appear in several events throughout the year.

Bad Bunny has proven, with the popularity of the match surrounding him and Damian Priest, that he can generate the same buzz as Logan Paul did when he faced Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. With a few more years and a carefully crafted schedule, the promotion could have at their disposal two Logan Paul-esque celebrities who will headline certain premium live events throughout the year.

Bad Bunny could be a massive appeal for WWE overseas

Bad Bunny is not just a national talent but also enjoys exceptional international fame. WWE could use the appeal of the Grammy Award winner to give themselves a marquee presence when they visit countries such as England or even Saudi Arabia. Under Triple H’s vision, the promotion will reportedly look to have more foreign presence, and that could be helmed by Logan Paul and Bad Bunny.

What is interesting is that Paul, who enjoys worldwide fame, has also brought in a separate demographic to the product, and that could also apply to Bad Bunny. His music stardom and in-ring prowess could give WWE a money-making prospect in the next five or so years. Whether or not the company can capitalize on this opportunity remains to be seen.
