The boxing community is all praises for the new undisputed welterweight champion, Terence Crawford, after his dominating victory against one of the greatest welterweights, Errol Spence Jr.
Both of them walked in undefeated at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas when four major boxing belts were in line. Crawford looked strong and superior right from the very start when he managed to knock his opponent down in the second round.
He did not stop the punches from flowing to absolutely outplay his opponent. In the seventh round, he dropped Spence Jr. a couple of times. A victory looked almost certain for ‘Bud’ at that point in time. He sealed the deal in the ninth round with a strong right hand.

With this victory, he became the first male and the second boxer to be a two-division undisputed world champion in the 4-major belt era. The only other fighter to achieve the special milestone, Claressa Shields, was watching the fight in Las Vegas. She welcomed ‘Bud’ to the prestigious club and congratulated him.
Popular YouTuber, boxer, and podcast host Logan Paul also posted a video in which he was seen enjoying the much-anticipated fight with his friends.

Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder also shared his opinion on this dominant victory of Terence Crawford.
Deontay Wilder on Terence Crawford TKO9 Errol Spence: “It seemed like Errol was a little drained and he couldn’t really do what he needed to do. Bud definitely took advantage… I really think Errol over-dehydrated himself, you could see it in his skin and in his eyes.”

Reactions from these legends and the boxing world as a whole just go on to solidify Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford’s name as the pound-for-pound king.
Errol Spence Jr. refuses to make excuses after losing to Terence Crawford
As strong an opponent as Crawford was, Spence did not give up easily. Even after being knocked down a few times and absorbing a lot of hits, Spence Jr. stood his ground till the referee stopped the fight in the ninth round.
When asked about a potential rematch between the two welterweight boxers, ‘The Truth’ said, “We’ve got to do it again. I would be a lot better; it would be a lot closer. We’ve got to do it again.” (Via Evening Standard)

The former champ also accepted the fact that Crawford was a better fighter at almost everything he did today. He also blamed his timing for being a little off, which cost him some hits on the face. “He was the better fighter on the night; he dictated with the jab; my timing was a little bit off, and he was catching me between shots,” said Errol Spence Jr. after the fight.
When Terence Crawford was asked about the possibility of a rematch, he also sounded very positive about it. So, it looks like a rematch between the two is on the cards.
We still have to wait for the rematch, while Crawford has impressed everyone with his superior performance in this fight. Spence Jr. is one of the best fighters in the world right now, and to outperform him in every aspect just shows his greatness as a welterweight.
