Ever since his triumph at the Australian Open this year, the Spanish champ Rafael Nadal has been in the spotlight being talked about all over the world.
Rafael ‘s friends and family circle and the tennis fraternity are not any new to this class of well- wishers.
The latest addition to his wishes is that of his doctor who was involved in the Spaniard’s hair transplant treatment. Dr. Angel Martin, the director of Clinica Menorca at the Spanish city Mallorca, spoke about Nadal regarding his 21st Grand Slam win at the Australian Open tournament last month.
Dr. Angel Martin described Rafael to be a ‘superhuman.’ “At that moment of the game, with everything against him , it was when Rafa’s enormous mental strength appeared to change the game. The desperation to see victory go away, and with it his 21st Grand Slam, exerted a lever in his brain,” the doctor shared his view on how the World No. 5 jumped back from two- low at the final match.
Lauding his physical and mental strength, Dr. Martin called what he saw at the match ‘wonderful.’ Being what would be a close connection to Rafael, the doctor mentioned about the Spaniard’s ‘private sacrifices’ all throughout his life, to reach this stage of being the man with most Grand Slam titles.
“He will go down in history as the ancient warriors of Troy, invincible, becoming an icon for society. He will leave a fabulous legacy for eternity” – Dr. Angel Martin expressed his pride through his words.
Talking about Nadal ‘s dreams Martin stated- “We all dream when we are asleep, but few of us wake up to make dreams come true. Rafa lives waking dreams . And he makes us enjoy his dreams come true.”
Moreover, Dr. Angel also hailed Rafael ‘s coaching staff and mentioned each and everyone of them.
He further calls Nadal a ‘colossal champion’ whose name will be inscripted in the tennis history. Martin concluded by saying- “He is not just an elite athlete. Rafa is human and close. It is great in every way. His flame will never go out.”
Dr. Angel Martin had helped in treating Rafael Nadal’s hair transplant back in 2016.
