Vettori sent out a tweet earlier, criticizing Till for pulling out. However, Till had not released a statement then, so it makes sense for Vettori to be frustrated with the news. Be that as it may, Kevin Holland has offered to step in with two-week notice, and Vettori seems to have given a thumbs up to the possibility of facing the Trailblazer on April 10.
UFC’s return on ABC in jeopardy! Marvin Vettori wants to fight on the same card
Marvin Vettori’s last fight inside the Octagon was back in December of 2020 where he picked up an impressive unanimous decision win over Jack Hermansson. Needless to say, Vettori has no plans for waiting for Till and wants to book his title spot with another win to his name.
Vettori has already given his approval to fight Holland on two weeks’ notice, and it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the Italian fighter. Needless to say, UFC will look at someone of the popularity of Holland to step in, considering Holland is also from Europe and the UFC had already changed the timings for the event for the European fans to mark the return of Darren Till.
