The professional wrestling industry has been blessed to witness Kurt Angle inside the WWE ring. Being one of the toughest contenders, it was always obvious that he would face the top stars of the division. However, there has been one match that stays in the golden books of Kurt Angle.
The 54-year-old WWE star recently spoke to Joe Rogan on his Joe Rogan Experience podcast and recalled a match involving Brock Lesnar. Kurt Angle had been quite interested in fighting Lesnar, but he failed to get a shot at it. In order to satisfy his desire, he prepared an impromptu match against The Beast Incarnate while he was facing The Big Show.
Back then, Brock was in the ring with his back against Kurt Angle. As soon as The Big Show went away, following Angle’s instructions, Kurt sneaked into the ring. Finally, Kurt Angle had a match with Brock Lesnar that lasted for over 15 minutes. “The wrestlers [will] tell you that I kicked his a**, that I dominated him – that’s not true. I beat him, but I didn’t beat him,” revealed Kurt.
The Olympic gold medalist seemed to have expected to thrash Lesnar in a terrific way. However, during the podcast, he also acknowledged the fact that he didn’t come out as the better man in a very dominating way. Brock fought with equal might, which eventually led him to gain respect in the eyes of The Wrestling Machine.

Brock Lesnar became the sensation of the combat sports industry with his run at the UFC. His move to WWE raised many eyebrows and received even greater remarks.
