“I Would Kill Him”- UFC Legend Daniel Cormier Sends a Scary Warning to Jake Paul

Since the TKO win over Ben Askren, Jake Paul has started new rivalries with countless UFC fighters and boxers. And the former UFC two-division champion, Daniel Cormier is one of them.

Daniel Cormier expressed his disappointment after Jake Paul’s trainer, J’Leon Love passed insulting remarks to Tyron Woodley in Jake Paul’s locker room. Responding to Daniel Cormier, Jake Paul called him out for a boxing fight and proposed Tyron Woodley to fight J’Leon Love.

Daniel Cormier gave a befitting response to Jake Paul’s call out in the latest episode of the DC & Helwani show. DC stated:

“There is a guy calling you out constantly but you never respond to him. I am not gonna do that. Because you don’t punch down. I am not gonna punch down and fight a guy that’s on YouTube, stupid. I fought for world titles my whole life. Why would I start to punch down?”

Daniel Cormier challenges Jake Paul to fight Luke Rockhold

Daniel Cormier also sent a stern warning to Jake Paul and said that he would kill him in a fight. But, he also raised a valid question which is what has Jake Paul done to deserve a fight against the former UFC two-division champion. Cormier continued:

“This dude would never fight me. I would kill him. Why would I ever fight someone like that? But, my immediate reaction was I can’t stand this kid. So it works like I can’t stand this kid. But, who punches down? You don’t punch down at somebody. I am the guy who is in the Hall of Fame. I am the guy that won two world championships at the same time. What have you done to earn the right to fight me?”

Though Daniel Cormier does not want to fight Jake Paul he certainly wants to see him compete against MMA fighters such as Tyron Woodley and Luke Rockhold. Daniel Cormier challenged Paul to prove himself against a tougher opponent than Ben Askren before he calls himself a real fighter.

“I would like him to fight Tyron, I would like to see him fight somebody real. Don’t fight Ben Askren at 190 bloated. Fight a middleweight, fight Luke Rockhold. Let me see you fight Luke Rockhold.”

Though fans want to watch Paul compete against pro fighters it’s very likely that Jake Paul will handpick a favorable fight for him next.
