Nate Diaz wants that fight with Dustin Poirier. The Stockton Slugger is time and again calling the former interim lightweight champion out for a fight. In a fresh rant on Twitter, Diaz posted an old clip of Dustin Poirier from the hospital bed where he can be seen abusing Diaz.
Don’t trip tho I’ll show you how to do it

In the process, Nate Diaz also mocked Conor McGregor, who suffered a horrific loss against Dustin Poirier both at UFC 256, and UFC 264. Poirier’s calf kicks in the rematch at UFC 246, and the Notorious snapping his leg at UFC 264 wasn’t a sight millions of McGregor’s fans were hoping to see. Diaz, taking a sly dig at McGregor, stated that he will show the former two-weight champion “how it’s done.”
The former lightweight champion Nate Diaz has not fought in the lightweight division ever since his unanimous decision win over Michael Johnson. Diaz has preferred to stay in the welterweight division and was last seen in a five-round war against top-ranked contender Leon Edwards. Diaz has time and again proved his toughness inside the cage, and his durability comes next to none.

Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier were scheduled to face each other in the co-main event of UFC 230. However, Poirier pulled out of the bout following an injury, where he had to be hospitalized after the fight. The trash-talk between the two did not stop as Poirier sent out multiple tweets, criticizing Nate Diaz.

This is not the first time that Diaz has called out Dustin Poirier. The Stockton native called out Poirier after his win over Conor McGregor in the rematch back at UFC 246. Even Poirier had stated that he wanted to get his hands on Nate Diaz, and wished for a showdown with the Stockton Slugger.
Dustin Poirier once again teased the idea of meeting Nate Diaz inside the cage, after he replied to a tweet sent out by Diaz, promoting a great t build-up if they do meet inside the Octagon in the near future.
Why was Nate Diaz vs Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 canceled?
Dustin Poirier has spoken about why he pulled out of the fight against Nate Diaz the first time around the two fighters were paired up against each other. While Poirier suffering from an injury was legit, the lightweight contender also revealed that it was partly because of Diaz, not being able to come to terms with the UFC that the match-up did not take place.
He wanted it he just couldn’t come to terms with ufc. They offered us the main event at msg but he would only agree if it was on his terms. I was tired of playing games with the guy and that’s when i decided to address a injury I had been dealing with. Now you all know#facts https://t.co/OU50fYP0pB

There’s a likely possibility that both the fighters will share the Octagon in the near future. Who do you think gets his hand raised when that happens? Dustin Poirier or Nate Diaz?
