The defending champions will face the Minnesota Timberwolves as they continue to recover from the rocky start to the year. The Golden State Warriors have not been able to build on some momentum that comes with wins and they certainly don’t look like themselves. One of the main reasons for this would be the absence of their key players; Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green. Klay Thompson has stepped up for the franchise at times but it is no secret that basketball is a team’s game.
The Timberwolves have not had much luck when it comes to injuries as well. Their key player Karl-Anthony Towns has been on the sidelines for a while now and his return date is still a doubt. With that said, let’s take a look at all the other stars who will be injured for the game tonight.
Andrew Wiggins is out for the Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves game tonight
Wiggins has not donned the Warriors jersey for a while now and the reason is still unknown. The Warriors have mentioned that he has been allowed some time off to attend to a family matter. Moreover, head coach Steve Kerr also admitted that Wiggins will be back on the court once he’s ready.
No timeline or added details on Andrew Wiggins’ absence from Steve Kerr. Away from the Warriors to deal with a family issue. Missed the last game before the break. Out tonight.

The Warriors will miss a great player in Wiggins, as he showed towards the end of last season during the playoffs. To make things worse for them, the Dubs will also miss Stephen Curry as he continues to recover from the knee injury.

Can Klay Thompson continue to step up for the Warriors in Stephen Curry’s absence?
Thompson has been sensational for the Warriors, especially when they have been needing his services the most. He made 12 three-pointers in the last game to break Steph’s record. His numbers this season speak at length about how big of a comeback Klay has made since his continuous injuries over the last few years. Klay would be the main reason why we would predict a GSW win tonight.
The last time these two sides faced was at the beginning of February 2023. Interestingly, the Wolves took a 119-114 win, thanks to Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell. However, D-Lo is no longer a T-Wolves player, after his recent trade to the LA Lakers. That would be a major blow for the Wolves, given his talent and ability to put in a shift on the court. Despite Steph’s absence, the Warriors do have enough firepower, but might face some trouble with Rudy Gobert and Ant-Man.
