The Philadelphia 76ers are playing against the Washington Wizards tonight. The Sixers have been one of the best teams in the league this season and are one of the contenders to go all the way as well. Joel Embiid has been leading the team alongside James Harden and Tyrese Maxey and it certainly looks like they could have a strong finish to the season.
The Sixers are on a 4-game winning streak and will be aiming to make it 5 tonight against the Wizards. They won their last game against the Portland Trail Blazers, thanks to a sensational 39-point game from Embiid. The Wizards will be looking to lock up the star center tonight. They have lost their last two games, against the Atlanta Hawks.
The DC-based team’s goal tonight will be to limit Embiid’s plays in the paint to ensure a win. Speaking of the French star, he has struggled with injuries at times this season, and fans will be eager to find out if he makes an appearance tonight.
Joel Embiid is available for the Philadelphia 76ers vs Washington Wizards game tonight
Embiid has had some trouble with his foot this season. He was on the 76ers’ injury report on multiple occasions this year with right foot soreness and other injuries that were similar. However, Sixers fans will be delighted to know that Embiid is available to play tonight, as are the rest of the players.

It is not the first time this has happened, where the 76ers have a clean injury report. Before the last game against the Blazers, Doc Rivers had his squad at full strength and this will be the case tonight as well.

The Sixers are favored over the Wizards to take the win tonight
The Sixers have managed to dismantle even the biggest teams this year. They snapped the Milwaukee Bucks’ 16-game winning streak earlier this month. Hence, we can expect them to get past the Wizards with ease.
The last time these two sides faced was in December 2022. Interestingly, the Wizards won the game 116-111. Despite double-doubles from both Harden and Embiid, the Sixers fell on that night. One of the main reasons would be the lack of contribution from their bench that day. However, given their recent form, we can expect it to be a different case tonight.
