The Phoenix Suns will be playing against the Milwaukee Bucks today at the Fiserv Forum. Fans have been waiting for two of the best teams in the league this year to go up against each other. The Suns are coming off a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton stepping up for the team.
The Bucks, on the other hand, won their last game against the Miami Heat and are currently on a 13-game winning streak. It is truly astonishing how they have managed to do that even in Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence. Speaking of injuries suffered by players, both of these teams will miss some of their big names for the clash today.
Kevin Durant is out for the Phoenix Suns vs Milwaukee Bucks game tonight
Kevin Durant moved to Arizona in a blockbuster trade with the Suns earlier this month. Mikal Bridges among a few other players were sent the other way as well. Fans have been excited to see KD don the Suns jersey on an NBA court but have not been able to do so due to his MCL sprain. Durant suffered the injury while playing against Jimmy Butler last month. It has been 6 weeks since Durant suffered the injury, and he has not returned to the court since.
NBA insider Brian Windhorst recently claimed that KD could make his debut against the Bucks but it looks like fans aren’t that fortunate just yet. Durant will remain on the sidelines for the Bucks game but could feature against the Charlotte Hornets on March 1. Apart from Durant, Landry Shamet is also on the Suns injury report with a foot injury.

The Bucks will miss Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight as well after the Greek Freak suffered a knee injury last game. His injury woes continue but the Bucks do not seem to be slowing down even without their star player.
Can the Suns take advantage of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence from the Bucks roster?
The Suns could possibly snap the phenomenal winning streak that the Bucks are currently on. If they had KD on their side tonight, their chances would have been even bigger. But with Dbook and CP3, along with big man Deandre Ayton, the Suns have more than enough firepower to dismantle the Bucks’ defense tonight.
The last time these two teams faced each other was in March 2022. The Bucks emerged victorious and won the game 132-122, thanks to Khris Middleton’s 44 points and Giannis’ double-double. However, with his absence and given the Suns’ recent form, we could predict that the outcome will be different tonight.
