The Milwaukee Bucks will host the defending NBA champions the Golden State Warriors tonight. Khris Middleton will be hoping to play a part for the team, after coming from a long-ailing injury. The Bucks fans are familiar with the impact Middleton had in the title-winning season in 2021. Since his injury, the burden fell onto the safe hands of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday.

The Bucks were on a 4 game-winning streak which came to a surprise ending when the Bucks lost against the Houston Rockets. Previously they lost against the in-form Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Bucks are however flying high despite the shock loss in the last game. Giannis and company were of a flying start, and are currently 2nd in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks have 19 wins and 7 losses this season and are on a 7-3 run.
The Golden State Warriors have just dismantled the Boston Celtics and will be looking to do the same against the Bucks. The Golden State is currently 9th in the Western Conference with a record of 14 wins and 13 losses, and coming into the game with a 6-4 run. They are on a decent run as well, only faced with the absence of Andrew Wiggins who is out with an injury.

Middleton went down with an MCL tear in the 2022 playoffs and has recently made his return. Khris played just over 6 minutes in the Bucks vs Rockets game, after getting injured. The Bucks can, however, take a sigh of relief as Middleton didn’t carry anything serious coming out of the game. Against the Golden State Khris Middleton is listed as day-to-day.

The Bucks will be looking to make up for the shock loss against the Houston Rockets as Jalen Green dropped 30 points. It was a slip-up for the Bucks nothing which reflects the team so far. Despite the uncertainty with Middleton’s injury, the Bucks will be ready to go against the defending champions. It may end up as a win for the Bucks.
But, it will be unfair to rule out the Golden State Warriors. Both the teams are star-studded and will be at each other’s throats, it will be a night about who imposes on the game.
