The San Antonio Spurs will be hosting the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the AT&T Center. The game would be an interesting out as the Lakers took the W very recently. Last game, the California-based franchise beat the Spurs 105-94. This time around, it might be a different story.
As we all know, the Lakers will not have Patrick Beverley available for this game. And they will be missing more players who could be vital to their win tonight. On the other hand, the Spurs have would have to deal with injuries to some of their players as well.
The Los Angeles Lakers might play against the San Antonio Spurs without LeBron James tonight
As we all know, LeBron James returned from injury last game. He missed several games due to an adductor injury. However, reports mention that he might miss tonight’s game due to an adductor strain.
LeBron is probable for tonight’s game with the left adductor strain he came back from to play in last night’s game. He said afterwards that he expects to play tonight.
AD is questionable with a left calf contusion suffered vs. SAS last night. No longer on report w/back soreness.

It is the same adductor injury that kept him out for a while and LA Lakers fans are understandably worried that their superstar might not be available. According to Dave McMenamin, LeBron said, “There’s a strong possibility I’ll play tomorrow. I just sat out two weeks … I’m good”. King James is listed as day-to-day and is probable but there is a small chance that he doesn’t make an appearance tonight.

Can the Lakers continue their winning form against the Spurs tonight?
As mentioned earlier, the Lakers might not have King James’ elite services tonight. He might be injured once again and that determines the possible result of the game as well. In the last game against the Spurs, LeBron was one of the standout stars, together with Anthony Davis and Lonnie Walker IV. The 37-year-old put up 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists on the night.
The prodigal trio of Keldon Johnson, Tre Jones, and Devin Vassell was against the Lakers in the last game. They each put up more than 14 points on the board. But at the end of the day, it seemed like the Lakers offense, led by LeBron, was too much for them to handle.
The trio would have to step up this game if the Spurs aim to win in front of their home fans. However, a win for the Lakers is expected, mainly because of the form they are in right now. The Lakers have won the last 4 of their 5 games, can they keep that going tonight?
