The Dallas Mavericks will face the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic will feature in their second game together and will be aiming to take their first win as a duo. The Sacramento Kings crashed the party when they beat the Mavs 128-133 in the last game. Luka and Co. are aiming to return to winning ways with a 6-4 record in the last ten games.
The Timberwolves have not had much success during the 2022-23 NBA season either. They are 8th seed right now in the West and would have to struggle to make the playoffs. The Wolves are coming off a loss against the Memphis Grizzlies, and are looking to turn the ship around like the Mavs as well. Some of their key players are dealing with injuries and might miss the important game tonight.
Luka Doncic is available for the Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves game tonight
Luka Doncic has been facing major issues with injuries in recent times. The Slovenian was forced to miss a few games for the team when Kyrie joined a couple of weeks ago. He suffered a heel injury and Mavs fans have been worried about his availability since then. Luka is available to face the Timberwolves tonight, and so is Kyrie.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (right hamstring tightness) is questionable for tomorrow night’s game against the Timberwolves.
Dāvis Bertāns (left calf strain) and Maxi Kleber (right hamstring tear) will remain out.

Can Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving lead the Mavs to their first win together?
The Luka-Kyrie duo has been most-awaited, mainly because of how similar their play styles are. Both Kyrie and Luka are exceptional dribblers and they carry the ball the most on their teams. This is one of the reasons why critics believe the partnership might not work out in the Mavs’ favor. However, Luka mentioned recently that he is open to adapting and playing off the ball, something he hasn’t done since joining the NBA a few years ago.
The last time these two teams faced was in December 2022. The Mavericks emerged victorious after winning the game 104-99. Doncic put up an exceptional double-double, with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. Rudy Gobert also bagged a double-double that game. Unfortunately for Wolves fans, he is listed as questionable, which is one of the reasons why the Mavs are the favorites for tonight’s game. The Wolves will miss a huge figure in the paint when Gobert doesn’t play, and they would not have a player to lock down Luka or Kyrie.
