The Golden State Warriors will be playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. OKC has been quite decent this year considering their young roster and Chet Holmgren’s absence. He may be a rookie with no real NBA experience but the basketball world is aware of his talent and potential. The Thunder are coming off a win against the in-form Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Golden State Warriors, on the other hand, won their last game against the Toronto Raptors and are aiming to carry that momentum to tonight’s game as well. The Warriors have not been performing as well as they would have liked, mainly because of injuries. Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Andrew Wiggins have all suffered serious injuries at some point this season. This has undoubtedly hindered some of their results this year. With that said, how does it look ahead of tonight’s game?
Stephen Curry is available for the Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder game tonight
Stephen Curry was forced to be on the sidelines with a shoulder injury a few weeks ago. Since then, Warriors fans have been on the lookout for his injury status before every game. Fortunately for them, the 4x NBA champ is available for the fixture tonight, and so are the other key Warriors players. However, a player who has been frequently listed on the injury report will be Andre Iguodala.
Andre Iguodala is the only Warrior on the team’s injury report for tomorrow’s game in OKC. He’s been dealing with a right hip strain.
Andrew Wiggins should be good to go. He was a full participant in practice today, and Steve Kerr said he “looked great” in the scrimmage.

Reports claim that Iggy is dealing with a right hip strain and his return date remains unknown. Steve Kerr also communicated to the media recently that Andrew Wiggins should be able to feature against OKC tonight after taking part in the Warriors’ practice.

The Warriors are favored to take the win against the Thunder tonight
The Warriors have won their last two games against the Memphis Grizzlies and Raptors. We can surely assume that spirits are high in the Warriors locker room, especially when they now have the opportunity to get on a good winning run. Stephen Curry will be the player that OKC will be aiming to lock tonight. The Chef has been the standout player for the Dubs this season, averaging 29.5 points, 6.4 assists, and 6.2 rebounds.
As for the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be the threat to the Warriors. At just 24 years old, SGA has been averaging 30.9 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.8 rebounds. He is also OKC’s leader in PPG, SPG, and BPG. Although his numbers were phenomenal, Shai could not be selected as an All-Star starter, and Curry was. Tonight, they will go head-to-head.
When the Warriors and Thunder played last time in February 2022, the Warriors won 110-98. Steph, Wiggins, Klay, and Poole all contributed to helping the Dubs to victory. Tonight, we can expect the same to be the case. The Warriors’ offense will be far too much for the Thunder to control unless they have an off night, which would be highly unlikely considering the way they have been playing recently.
