UFC 271: Adesanya vs Whittaker 2 will take place this weekend at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Consequently, fight fans around the world cannot wait for the PPV to begin as it features several big superstars like Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker, Derrick Lewis and many others.
A few hours ago, all 30 fighters competing in the PPV stepped on the scales for the official weigh-ins. Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker who will be a part of the main event title rematch were the first ones to step on the scales. Both The Last Stylebender and The Reaper successfully made weight.
However, the talking point during these weigh-ins was Izzy hilariously mocking his critics. Adesanya played with his nipples as he stood on the scales to troll the critics who were accusing him of taking steroids. During the build-up of the fight, middleweight contender Sean Strickland and numerous fans alleged that Izzy’s gynecomastia before the Paulo Costa fight was due to usage of PED’s.

Adesanya delivered a hilarious response to the critics and he later went on Twitter to retweet a video. In this clip, Rashad Evans twisted his nipples ahead of the fight and the fan captioned the post ‘Bringing back the nipple tweak.’.
UFC 271: Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker weigh-in results
The preliminary bout between Alex Perez and Mat Schnell was cancelled after the former title contender missed weight by two pounds. Another fighter who missed weight was William Knight as he exceeded the weight limit my 12 pounds. Consequently, the light heavyweight fighter had to forfeit 40% of purse and this bout will now contest in the heavyweight division.
