Julius Randle has made waves in the NBA since his debut in 2014. In his illustrious official basketball career, he has donned jerseys of three different teams. Randle is currently playing for the New York Knicks in forward-center position. Fans are amused not only by his remarkable skills but also by his impressive array of tattoos adorning his body.
Notably, the Knicks star did not decide to get inked until his first child was born. Even though he has always liked the idea of tattoos, he never had the time to get one. This changed after he welcomed his first child with his wife Kendra Randle in December 2016.

Furthermore, he spoke about his tattoo to the ‘New York Post‘, and “I was seeing a lot of Instagrams, always had really liked tattoos, never found time to get one”. Randle continued, “I was seeing really good face portraits. I wanted my son tattooed on me. It’s my favorite tattoo for sure”.
The NBA star married his college sweetheart in 2017. The two attended the University of Kentucky and were introduced through a mutual friend. Soon before they knew it, they were already holding hands and making plans for the future. They decided to walk down the aisle at an early age and their wedding was nothing short of a dream.

Julius Randle decided to get a portrait of his son Kyden Randle on his arm shortly after he was born. It is not the Knicks star but everyone’s “Favorite tattoo”.
Even at the mere age of 3, Kyden knew that the tattoo was of him as revealed by Julius himself. The NBA star revealed, “He’ll look at my arm and say, ‘That’s Kyden.’ Or I’ll be playing with him and I’ll say, ‘Who’s this?’ And he’ll say, ‘That’s me! That’s me!’ He knows it’s him”. It is undeniably a wholesome moment between the father-son duo and a great way to bond.
Furthermore, Julius and Kendra welcomed their second son Jaycey Randle on October 16, 2021. Interestingly, the Randle family has started a cute tradition of posting the pregnancy or birth announcement in baby jerseys. At the time of Kyden, Kendra took to her Instagram to post a picture of a baby Lakers jersey with Ranle written on the back.
Similarly, when Jaycey was born, Kendra posted a picture of him lying on Julius’ New York Knicks jersey. Both of these posts garnered significant attention from fans worldwide. It is undeniably a wholesome way of making announcements and the creativity behind it is evident.
