Consequently, as we inch closer to this PPV, the promotion has released a countdown video of UFC 272: Covington vs Masvidal on their YouTube channel. In this video, the UFC has given a short preview of their rivalry and the bad blood that they share with each other.
During one of the segments, The Chaos trashed Masvidal’s success in the UFC and made a bold claim that he used to outclass Gamebred in sparring sessions during their time together as teammates at ATT.
“I saw the success and it was nothing I knew that it was all hype and lightning in a bottle and he wasn’t for real. You know he knocked out Till, he knocked out Ben A**cream. But these guys are nobodies. You know they put all this hype on him like he’s some killer, he’s not a killer. This is the same guy I used to play with. I used to put one hand behind my back and I would just hold him down. Everybody knew that I was the biggest stud.”

After both Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal made some bold claims about each other in the UFC 272 countdown video, The Chaos concluded his comments in the video by revealing that he will take notes from his training sessions with Masvidal.
“Jorge always liked to act like he was my big brother when he was never my big brother. I’ve always been Jorge’s daddy. You know I’m gonna take all the lessons that I learned from training with Jorge all those years and I’m gonna make him pay.”
