Jolie Poirier has come out in support of a lifetime ban for Conor McGregor after receiving death threats from the Notorious in the aftermath of UFC 264. Jolie Poirier, who was inside the Octagon as Dustin Poirier was adjudged the winner of the fight via Doctor’s stoppage, did not hold back at McGregor as she flipped off at the former two-weight champion. However, Jolie’s action came in reaction to many of McGregor’s claims and bad-mouthing.

Now, Jolie Poirier has shown her support by retweeting a tweet that demanded a lifetime ban for McGregor. This comes after new footage emerged of Conor McGregor sending death threats to both Dustin Poirier and Jolie Poirier.
“In your sleep, you’re getting it, in your sleep you’re dead, you and your Mrs, it ain’t over,” McGregor could be heard saying.

Conor McGregor showed gun signs and threatened to kill Dustin Poirier and Jolie Poirier by repeatedly pointing at them. While there was trash talk from both sides, with Dustin Poirier mocking the injured McGregor by doing the billionaire strut. However, McGregor crossed the line when he passed personal remarks at Jolie Poirier.
Conor McGregor has always used trash talk to gain a mental edge over his opponents. However, many fans felt that McGregor crossed the line this time around by dragging Dustin Poirier’s wife Jolie Poirier into the mix.
What’s next for Conor McGregor?
It could be a while before we see Conor McGregor back inside the Octagon. However, it’s safe to say that the former two-weight champion is going nowhere. McGregor has stated that he wants to return to the Octagon, with UFC president Dana White giving a nod to a fourth bout.
There was a lot at stake for McGregor going into the trilogy bout. While McGregor did lose, the unfortunate injury leaves a lot to be answered.
