Jon Jones Walkout Song: Jones Brings Back His Old Walkout Song for Heavyweight Title Fight Against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285

Jon Jones is one of the most special fighters that the sport of MMA has ever seen. From becoming the youngest UFC champion to featuring in 15 title fights in his career, Jon has reigned over the UFC for more than a decade now. From beating legends like Lyoto Machida, Rampage Jackson, and Rashad Evans to outclassing young fighters like Thiago Santos, Anthony Smith, and Dominck Reyes, Jon’s domination is unmatched!

It proves that Jon is a generational talent, who is yet to face any worthy opponent in his career. Although he lost to Matt Hamill in 2009, it was via DQ and he was dominating the fight. That unfortunate loss aside, Jon has one of the best records ever in the sport. So what are the walkout songs he has used in his career so far? Let’s find out!

List of songs Jon Jones has used in his career

UFC 128: The very first time Jon Jones walked out for a UFC PPV main event, was against Shogun Rua at UFC 128. For that fight, Jon came out to the legendary rapper Jay-Z’s song “Empire State of Mind,” featuring Alicia Keys.

UFC 135: Jon Jones defended his light heavyweight title against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at UFC 135. For that particular bout, Jon Jones used “Coming Home” by Diddy ft. Dirty Money and Skylar Grey.

UFC 140: His next title defense was against the legendary Lyoto Machida. It ultimately resulted in Machida being choked unconscious by the end of the bout. For his entrance, Jon Jones walked out to a mashup of “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent and “Beautiful People” by Chris Brown.

UFC 145: The trend of mashups continued against Rashad Evans at UFC 145. In the fight against his former teammate, Jon used a remix of “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss and “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent.

UFC 152: Jon Jones faced the dangerous Vitor Belfort at UFC 152. Jonny Bones had an entertaining fight against Belfort and ultimately won the bout via submission. This time use he used the mash-up of “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent and “Could You Be Loved” by Bob Marley.

UFC 159: Jon Jones faced the former middleweight title challenger Chael Sonnen in the UFC 159 main event. Jon ultimately rag-dolled Sonnen and won the bout via TKO. However, Sonnen accused him of being on PEDs for the fight. for that event, Jones came out with a remix of “God Give Me Style” by 50 Cent and “Jammin” by Bob Marley.

UFC 165: Jon Jones then had his Hall of Fame fight against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165. Although Jon won unanimously, the bout was extremely hard fought and it was Jones’ hardest bout till that point. Jon came out to the remix of “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent and “Coming Home” by Diddy.

UFC 172: In the UFC 172 main event, Jon Jones went up against Glover Teixeira. Jon dominated the bout and won via unanimous decision. For the event, Jon used “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss.

UFC 182: UFC 182 had a heated build-up as Jon Jones fought Daniel Cormier for the first time in this event. Jon went back to using remixes as he walked out to “God Gave me Style” by 50 Cent, “Hot in Here” by Nelly, and “The Champ is Here (Remix)” by Jadakiss and Nate Dogg.

UFC 197: At UFC 197, Jon Jones fought Ovince Saint Preux for the interim light heavyweight title after being stripped of the undisputed belt. He ultimately won the fight and the interim championship as he beat OSP via unanimous decision. Jon used “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent and “I’m Coming Home” by Diddy.

UFC 214: Jon Jones once again met Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 214. Although Jones tested positive for PEDs afterward, Jon won the fight via third-round stoppage. The former light heavyweight champ once again walked out to the remix of “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cm and “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss.

UFC 232: After another lengthy layoff, Jon Jones made his return to UFC 232 and faced Alexander Gustafsson once more. Jon used familiar songs for his walk out as he came out to “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent and “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss. Jon defeated Gustafsson once more to win the vacant 205 lbs title at the time.

UFC 235: Following his near one-sided win over Alexander Gustafsson, Jon fought Anthony Smith at UFC 235. For that event, Jon used “We Are the Champions” by Queen and “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss.

UFC 239: Jon Jones then fought the Brazilian fighter Thiago Santos at UFC 239. It was a close fight and Jones won the bout via a split decision for the first time in his career. Jones once again walked out to “We Are the Champions” by Queen and “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss.

UFC 247: Jon Jones took on Dominick Reyes in the last light heavyweight fight before his move to heavyweight. For this fight, Jon reverted back to “God Gave Me Style” by 50 Cent and “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss. Although it was an extremely hard fight, Jon won the fight in the end and retained his title before relinquishing it.

UFC 285: Although Jon left the light heavyweight division in 2020, his heavyweight debut did not come until 2023. For his fight against Ciryl Gane, Jon Jones teased that he would once again use “The Champ is Here” by Jadakiss. However, there is also a custom-made song for him called “God’s Gift” by Mike Dome. So it remains to be seen which song features during his walkout.
