UFC Vegas 68 is packed with heavy hitters. With strikers like Derrick Lewis, Choi Doo-Ho, and Marcin Tybura set to feature, it is going to be an amazing event to witness. The card gets only more appealing after taking a look at the co-main event of the night. Light heavyweight fighter Devin Clark is set to fight Jung Da Un in a 3-round contest.
Devin Clark last fought against Azamat Murzakanov in August 2022. However, the bout did not go in his favor as Azamat knocked Clark out in the third round of the bout. Devin has not had the best record in the Octagon recently. He lost against Azamat, Ion Cutelaba, and Anthony Smith, while his only recent win was against William Knight in April last year.

Jung Da Un, on the other hand, is coming back after 6 months. He got flat-lined by Dustin Jacoby in July 2022. However, he was on a spectacular run prior to that. Jung beat Khadis Ibragimov on his debut in 2019. He currently holds a UFC record of 4-1-1. It is a great record considering he is relatively young in the game. Can he get back to winning ways against Devin Clark? Let’s find out.

Da Un vs Clark: Fight Breakdown
Jung Da Un only has 3 losses in his career. 1 KO and submission loss each and the other one was a decision loss in 2015. So it is very impressive that Da Un has managed to go on long winning streaks with odd losses here and there. Out of his 4 wins, the South Korean fighter has 3 finishes inside the Octagon. So the 29-year-old does have a knack for finishing his opponents.

Out of his 19 professional fights, Jung Da Un has 13 finishes with 11 KOs and 2 submissions. In comparison, Devin Clark has only 5 finishes in his 13 career wins. So there is a clear indication as to how this fight may play out. As per UFC stats, Devin lands a mere 2.94 strikers per minute while absorbing 2.86 strikes at the same time. But, he does have a takedown average of 2.30 per fight.
Compared to that, Da Un has much better stats. He lands 4:05 strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 43%. Even in terms of grappling, Jung averages 2.43 takedowns per fight. So on paper, the South Korean fighter seems to be the favorite to get his hand raised. He also has less mileage on him and has been well-rested.

However, fights are not decided on the paper and it needs to be mentioned here. Clark needs to take the fight to his opponent. If he fights in his usual defensive way, there may be another loss heading his way. However, he has been fighting in the UFC since 2016 and certainly has experience with him. But, from height to reach to recent records, everything points to a Jung Da Un victory this weekend.
