Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals that he had nothing to lose during his fight against Justin Gaethje
Khabib Nurmagomedov is a very disciplined fighter and one would assume that he never sways away from the game plan that is instructed by his coaches. However, the Russian has revealed in the podcast with Mike Tyson that he didn’t listen to his coaches during the Gaethje fight.
“First of all, what I have to do because he got very good wrestling base. He is a very good wrestler. And in beginning of the fight I knew this guy don’t let me wrestling. I go through on his punch, kicks. You know it was like everything what happened with my father. Like I would think I have nothing to lose.”
“My coach tell me listen to gameplan, listen to game plan, be careful, head movement. Yes like take him down but I don’t listen everything what my coach says but because I was very emotional.” Therefore it is commendable and everyone should appreciate the greatness of Khabib. Owing to the fact, he lost his father few months before the fight and the Russian still showed up and finished the job.
